Infrared Sauna Therapy services are now offered at Premier Physical Therapy . Infrared Sauna is a great tool and modality to use on its own or along side your Physical or Massage therapy to help accelerate your healing and recovery process improve your overall wellness. Our Infrared Saunas utilize radiant heat treatment which raises your body's core temperature, boosting your immune system and inducing a cleansing detoxing sweat.

What To Expect During Your Sauna Session:
- Each sauna session is 30 minutes .
- You will have the privacy of your own room.
- We will provide all of the towels for use in the sauna and for your personal use.
- In the sauna, you will want to wear as little clothing as you are comfortable with.
- Make sure to bring light, loose clothing to change into after.
On average, people usually begin to break their first sweat within the first 15 minutes. This will fluctuate depending on how active and how hydrated you are.
You will want to come fully hydrated and also bring water with you to drink during and after your session. If the heat ever gets to be too much, you can always open the sauna door for some fresh air or lower the temperature of the sauna.
In addition, our infrared saunas are also equipped with Chromotherapy. Which is also referred to as Color Therapy. This is a therapy utilizing colors to help stimulate healing in our body and mind. This therapy utilizes colors to help stimulate healing in our body and mind.

Some Helpful Tips Before Your Appointment:
- Hydrate before, during, and after a sauna session
- Bring and/or wear light, loose clothing
- Bring extra water
- Eat a light meal 1 hour prior
Common Sweat Etiquette To Keep In Mind:
- If you are sweating with a friend, please use quiet voices
- If you are listening to your own music, please use a lower volume.
- Before you leave, please close the sauna door, and toss used towels into the laundry basket.
- Please be mindful of the time as we have time allotted to clean and sanitize the saunas for the next guests
